THE SRX: GENERAL OPERATION
Participants are required to follow the rules of the Belgian rallycross championship at each race.
Each race includes:
A free practice session divided into 3 sessions of 30 minutes.
A series of three heats. The three heats are contested by five cars in four rounds, with starts in rows.
Heat 1: the starting position is determined by a draw.
Heat 2 and 3: the starting positions will be determined by the time achieved in the previous heat.
Two semi-finals: cars are divided into two groups of six cars, the race is run over six rounds with starts in three rows.
For the best: the final. The starting position for the final is determined by the number of points scored in the heats and semi-finals. The six cars that achieve the best results during the heats take part in the final and will race over six rounds.
AWARDING OF POINTS
During each session (except during free practice), points are awarded to vehicles according to their order of arrival.
